Baby Hubs Multiply!
18 months ago, the first Tower Hamlets Baby Hub launched at St Paul’s Shadwell to gather, support & encourage those in their third trimester and parents / carers of little ones. Since then, we’ve met nearly 200 local families and continue to see regular attendance every week. Baby Hub families graduate to the toddler group Tower Tots and get plugged into lots of other church activities. It has been a privilege to baptise a whole host of our Baby Hub regulars.
As part of the Tower Hamlets Mission Project, we hope that a network of Baby Hubs will launch in locations across the borough:
Baby Hub Bethnal Green launched in April. Hosted at St James the Less, Bethnal Green on a Monday (where we’ve already met 50+ new families), it’s so popular we’re meeting on Tuesday mornings too!
Baby Hub Poplar has also just launched on Friday mornings at All Saints Poplar, giving us 4 sessions of Baby Hub per week with more to come across the borough.
In July, 27 Baby Hub families enjoyed our first big trip to the Young V&A together.
