Let’s Make A Choir
Children from across the Deanery are invited to come and build an evensong choir from scratch -- in three days!
Hosted in two different Tower Hamlets churches during the summer holidays, children aged 7-11 will have the opportunity to come together & learn new choral pieces. The program is open to children of any faith or none and focuses on sacred choral music. Each course will end with a special Choral Evensong sung by the children, which family and friends are invited to attend.
No experience is necessary, and it’s all totally free of charge, with lunch provided! The wonderful Jonathan Pease, director of the East London Evensong Choir, and his team will lead both weeks:
Week 1: 7th-9th August, 9am-3.30pm daily. St James-the-Less Bethnal Green, E2 9JD
Week 2: 21st-23rd August, 9am-3.30pm daily. All Saints Poplar, E14 0EY
